Bruce originally based with us with Izzy Rees int 2021 where they spent several seasons with us competing BE90 and Working Hunter classes, even qualifying and competing at HOYS. In 2024, with Izzy’s University commitments increasing, the Rees family made the difficult decision to sell Bruce. However, he found a wonderful home with Purdey Browning.
Purdey spent a year getting to know Bruce and has now moved him back to base at DEHQ with him as they aim to progress in their eventing together. The combination have had numerous double clears at BE90 and qualified themselves for the Pony Club Championships.
Bruce is a great character to have around, he keeps you on your toes with the odd buck and spook, but knows his job as is exceptionally good fun to jump. We look forward to supporting Bruce and Purdey through their eventing.
