Woody was bought by Saffron Cresswell as a young 4yo, where he started out his career. Kate bought him at the start of 2025, and he is proving to be a lovely horse.
Woody has completed in a couple of events so far, and looks to have all the ingredients to make a talented, fun and competitive horse. He will look to consolidate on his BE100 form, and work towards the National 5YO Champs at Cornbury in the autumn.
Woody is an incredibly kind and good looking horse. His beautiful colouring and uphill frame, makes him a real head turner! The dressage judges already love him, scoring 75% in tests so far, and he is sure to keep scoring very competitively in this phase. Woody has a very classical technique and huge amounts of scope. For a relatively tall horse with so much engine, his canter is incredibly balanced and a pleasure to ride to a jump. He is brave and agile cross country, and looks to love all three phases. This flashy horse would go for a professional or amateur alike, and looks to have a fun and exciting future ahead.
