Ben has owned Joey since November 2025, when he bought him off a local family, having known him since a foal.
Prior to Ben’s purchase, Joey hadn’t competed in Eventing and so Ben has begun his eventing career during the 2026 season. They have gained a consistent record at BE100 in 2026, with some very good dressage scores and Joey proving he loves the cross country phase. Ben aims to continue to produce Joey up the levels over the coming seasons, hoping to upgrade to Novice and possible intermediate in 2027.
Joey is a kind, eye catching horse with a lovely nature. We really look forward to supporting Ben and Joey over the coming season.
