This super talented horse is by the leading eventing sire, Master Imp and out of a Nero Astaire / Golden Cliff dam, who jumped at the YR Europeans in pure show jumping herself. He is 7/8 TB and one of the last Master Imp sired horses about. Impy was bought as a 3 year old by Kate in Ireland and was given plenty of time to grow in the field as a 4 year old. He started eventing in true style as a 5 year old, placing at his first few events, but due to another large growth spurt was turned away during the autumn. He came out all the better for it as a 6 year old and upgarded to Novice level, having gained some good BE100 results during the spring. In 2017, Impy picked up numerous top 3 placing at Novice level and rounded off the year fininshing just out of the prizes at Aldon CCI*. Impy was sold to Italy at the start of the 2018 season and has gone on to gain some fabulous results with his talented young jockey, including winning medals at Italy’s National Junior Championships.
