Kate bought Robbie from Cooley Farm as unbroken 4yo. He is by Jan Van Holland and out of a full TB dam. He was broken in at the start of his 5yo year and was given time to mature. Robbie made his way to DE HQ to start his eventing career as a 6yo, and started competing last autumn.
Robbie finished the season with a couple of events, rounding off the year with a placing at Oasby BE90. We expect this horse to make great progress this season, upgrading quickly and we think Ivy is going to have a lot of fun on him!
Robbie is an excellent jumper and this combined with his high TB percentage means he should be a horse we see jumping some big tracks in the future. We are looking to producing Robbie up to 2* level where we have high hopes that this compact little horse will make an excellent Junior/Young Rider prospect.
