This lovely, kind horse was bought out of an Irish jumping yard at the end of 2024, having competed at the World 5YO Championships that autumn with Vincent Byrne. He’s by the fabulous stallion I’m Special De Muze and out of a Numero Uno / Cruising dam.
Kate took her time with Harley this spring, as he turned his talents to eventing, but he has cruised up the levels this summer and he put in a strong performance at Cornbury House YHCCI2*S with a fabulous clear xc. Harley has had a brilliant first season of eventing being placed at Novice level and finishing his season with a fabulous double clear and placing at Kronenberg CCI2*S.
Harley is a compact and classy looking model, with an incredible engine. Although he doesn’t have the biggest of trots, he is very rideable and rhythmical, and when he learns to harness all his power, we think the dressage judges will reward his attacking, uphill and forward way of going. He has scope to burn and has been incredibly brave cross country, taking to it like a natural. We are excited to see what he can achieve over the coming years.
