Teddy was bought at the start of 2023 through Kate and Richard Sheane, by long standing friend and owner of Joe’s, Fiona Lascelles. Teddy had previous all round experience and some events done in Ireland, before heading to base at DE HQ.
Joe and Teddy went from strength to strength last year, successfully competing in BE100 events and upgraded to Novice level in the autumn. They also got their first taste of International competition at Blair Castle CCI1* as well.
This year Joe and Teddy will look to gain more experience at Novice level, before contesting some 2* events later in the year, and possibly an Intermediate to round off the season.
Teddy is a tall horse, but a sensitive character who always tries his best and wants to please. His fabulous brain is matched with lovely movement and a very scopey jump, paving the way for many years of fun and enjoyment to come!
