Nanny and Groom
Gemma joined Dassett Eventing in the Spring of 2026 to help care for Kate’s two children outside school hours and also work on the yard when they are at school. Her extensive equestrian experience as well as nannying for other equine families makes her the perfect fit for this varied role.
Previously Gemma has worked in racing and with hunt horses and still very much enjoys hunting during the winter months. Gemma is calm and confident with both the children and the horses and a real asset to the team. When not looking after Ella and Finn, she is usually required on the yard for lots of hacking and some yard work too.
