Schooling Livery

**Covid-19 Update: 5th January 2021*

The BHS has released the following guidance;

  • Horse owners, loaners and sharers can continue to travel to care for and exercise their horse when it is not kept at home.
  • Livery yards can continue to allow horse owners, loaners or sharers to care for and exercise their horse.
  • Horse riding can continue although all organised activities and competitions will be required to stop.

Therefore, owners are welcome to Dassett Eventing to watch their horses train or to ride them as part of their daily exercise, adhering to the following;

  • Please do not come on site if you are at all concerned for your own health or believe you have been with others who may be unwell.
  • Please clean your hands with the provided sanitiser on arrival – there are several sanitising stations around the site – and avoid touching your face.
  • Following social distancing.
  • Touch as little as possible whilst here.
  • Unfortunately there will be no toilet / bathroom facilities open, so please go before arriving here!
  • Our lovely ‘Dassett lunches’ in the house are also still on hold, but ‘Andrea’s charity tuck shop’ in the jump arena viewing hut remains open.

Kate and her team have developed great expertise in working with horses at all levels. When space permits, we can help a horse progress in its general training or work on a specific issue through our schooling livery service.
