This cracking horse is by Sibon W and out of a Tinarana Goldwave / Douglas mother. He was sourced and began his career with Harry Horgan in the UK. Kate bought him in the spring of his 4yo year, and he went to Ireland to join the rest of Dassett Eventing’s 4 year olds. Here he spent time in the field and getting experience being ridden up on the Irish woodland.
Ritchie made the trip back to the UK in January 2024. He is a striking looking horse, who has grown a huge amount over the past year. He fills the eye as a package and is always looking for the next fence. He looks set for an exciting future. Ritchie had a great start to his eventing career and has took to it naturally, with some placings at BE100 level, and put in a fabulous performance at Cornbury National 5YO Championships, being one of the XC rounds of the day! We look forward to 2025 with this talented competitive horse.
At the end of 2024 Richie was bought by Izzy and Charlie Hall, with the aim of Izzy and Kate working together to produce him. He picked up some good results including a win with Kate and 2nd with Izzy at BE100. Due to work commitments, Kate will start the 2026 season with Richie and we look forward to seeing this lovely horse progress.
