Moreton Morrell (1)

This week saw the second outing for the young guns, and all had great runs at Moreton Morrell for their first BE100.

Amelia was super consistent, posting a 29 dressage on all three horses! Keynote Dassett (Wilson) then jumped a perfect double clear, adding no time penalties to finish on his dressage and ending up in 7th place. He is such an exciting talent for the future, and this makes it two top-ten-placings from the two runs of his career.

Kinetic Dassett (Brownie) jumped a good showjumping round and put in a fantastic clear cross country, just adding a few time to finish outside the top 10. He has so much ability, and we felt it important to give him the time to process everything at this early stage of his career. He finds it all so straightforward, and is going to be seriously competitive as he goes up the grades. He certainly got lots of cuddles from Amelia, as the photos show!

Finally, Hawthornstud Dassett (Lexi) put in the performance of the day and finished on her dressage score for 3rd place in her section. Proving her last outing wasn’t a fluke, this cracking mare made nothing of the influential jumping tracks and cruised round inside the time for her second double clear in a row. She is such a businesswoman, and will undoubtedly add many more placings to her impeccable record as she continues to progress.
