Unfortunately this past weekend saw 2 Dassett lorries head to different parts of the country but all come back without any horse competing. Despite efforts by the event teams, we felt it wasn’t right for our Novice horses to run at Sapey or our BE105 and BE100 horses to run at Goring Heath. At least Ella got some work done at home…!
Our job is to produce theses horses, and a massive part of that is preparing them for the future and keeping them mentally enthusiastic about their jobs. I strongly feel running on inappropriate ground goes directly against both these objectives, so home we came. At least we all got to watch some of the European XC action!
